Thanks brah!!

Was kinda weird to write a review for it, given that anything i say would be seen as biased…

so i just wrote whatever came out.

turned out to be an “anti-review” of sorts :D

…so strange man, society i mean.

anything i say positive about it will be construed as bias.

but it does legitimately rock.

my site – this site – wouldn’t be here without the info you finally got down onto paper in your book.

hopefully other people will decide to make something happen and check it out…

Don’t forget, the book also makes you more attractive. :)

I think it’s cute that Glen’s buddy is Ally and my buddy is Ali… I wonder if that means something?

Loved the bit about Glen fawning over internet celebs. Only a true friend can say stuff like that and get away with it.

Great Book! I wasn’t too interested in the part about blogs because I prefer to do other sites but the part on niche websites was great. I learnt a great detail despite having already read a few books on online marketing.

Hey Craig!!

Yeah. completely relate.

…and it’s seriously long.

that was prolly my biggest downside :) welcome to the sound-bite generation of summaries and twitter sized content haha :D

initially i kinda skimmed the blogging section actually but when i read it closely there were quite a few things that i implemented here. seen solid results too. feedburner numbers and ad revenues are up… devil’s in the detail they say.

busy working on a few minisites at the mo too.

i’ll facebook you the links ;)

keep well bra

Welcome to the sound-bite generation? That was like a three-page review?

I have a major bone to pick with the four reviews I’ve read on this product, but before that I’ll point out one thing I think you forgot to mention. There are two very helpful interviews in this book, with people who you’ve just got to respect, given their own huge success online. Even if you could track down all Glen’s advice on the internet (months reading forum posts), you would NEVER get to read such personal stories about Glen and, Jonathan and Chris.

Now, I’ve read Cloud Living from cover-to-cover, and I think it’s great, but there is one thing I’m not so sure about. It’s a problem I have with these ebooks in general, and I think people will relate to this. The question is: it really going to help you?

Imagine you had a whole day speaking one-to-one with a professional, entirely focused on creating success for you in this area. You would be able to streamline the conversations to points that are completely related to YOU and your success, and you could really soak up as much relevant information as possible. With ebooks, though, it’s different. There’s nobody there, you’re just reading some static pages that won’t help you if you get stuck, won’t inspire you when you’re unmotivated, and definitely won’t answer all the questions that you’re bound to run up against doing this thing. In short, it’s just not ever going to be sufficient enough to hold your hand the whole way. No matter what the sales copy says, you’re always going to have to figure things out for yourself.

Now, I’m not trying to rail against what Glen’s done. I know Glen personally, I know Alex personally, and this is their show not mine. But I do feel like it’s my duty to make it clear that no ebook is going to be the instant competence provider that will automatically make you be successful at this. Like you said, Glen spent YEARS learning this stuff. It’s just not feasible that someone is going to read something he wrote, no matter how comprehensive it is, and have the same instincts that Glen has for this.

That said, I do think that it’s a great book. Of course, of course it is. It’s the best thing you’ll find out there on this subject, guaranteed. But you aren’t going to move mountains just because you’ve read some ebook. It’s going to take a lot more than that.

On the other hand though, if you think that you can succeed in this without reading up on this stuff, then you’ve got another thing coming. The reason why it took so many failures and years for people to learn this stuff is because there never used to be documents like this out there. It makes sense to cut your learning curve by learning from those who have been successful in this, reading their personal experiences, and following their steps – it’s called modelling successful people. But if you aren’t up to it, if you know that you don’t have what it takes to do well in this, stop deluding yourself, and don’t let sales copy persuade you that this stuff is easy.

That said, if you’re serious about doing it, really doing it, then the book will help you.

The truth.

It’s sad that I can’t find the money to buy this… I’ll wait till I monetize my blog. But wait, to do that I need Cloud Living first… I’m trapped :’(

Hey Anyhony!!

haha quite a paradox.

as i said above, there is ample free information out there.

just search “make money online” :D

…and if you put in the hours, you’ll start to earn money.

It’s not difficult, people just don’t want to put in the hours.

…and then once you’ve made some cash, check out Cloud Living for the subtleties.

But as i said above, you don’t NEED it.

it’s impressive to turn $50 into millions. Creating the $50 from scratch is even more impressive.

Gotta hustle yo ;)

Wooohooo! :)

Cloud-living totally rocks.

I must admit its a totally awesome book, incredible for both beginner and more advanced alike, but once you master the basics, I suggest learning some Css and wordpress theme editing skills to hone the website even more.

It doesn’t cover editing your theme or customizing your site in much detail but managed to figure most of it out.

Since I got my hands on my copy and read it cover to cover that same night, I’ve been working like mad following the tutorial on setting up minisites.

Glen gives a great free template with the ebook that is ready to use for any affiliate product, I just prefer to modify it and do my own thing:)

Seriously, if you are thinking about internet marketing, dont even think twice, get this book, its the best value for money in my opinion.

Especially if you’re a beginner. It can be a little repetitive if you’ve been doing this for a while but there are some amazing tips and things to try that i hadn’t considered or seen before.

Cheers

sup diggy!!

yeah. completely relate to the CSS thing.

man, remember what my site looked like when i started?! baha. i take screenshots every week and looking back on how it looked in the beginning makes me quesy :P

that said, i don’t think you can really learn CSS in a guide. It’s a trial and error thing. Just need to know how to use google and make endless backups in case you mess summen up ;)

i’ve seen that template cropping up EVERYWHERE. wilding. hint hint ;) haha. HQ :P

keep well bra.
alex

p.s. dude, you’re upsetting ample parents with your tattoo minisites… but well done :D

Hey Alex! I read cloud living the day before it went out. I agree that it has a powerful potential. I say potential because I need to test the advices myself and take action.

Right on Alex!

You AND Glen are the real deal.
I just bought Cloud Living and for a mere $37 he has shown me more than I would have ever received from anyone else.

Hey guys!

Seems I found this real late. Sorry I’ve been SO
STUPIDLY out of touch but selling all your possessions
and moving to Bangkok on a whim can keep you pretty busy…

Yeah, I’d have to agree with everyone above.
Except Alex! (”’ve seen that template cropping up
EVERYWHERE. wilding. hint hint haha. HQ”)

I kid, I kid…all good stuff. Hahaha!

I thought I’d add one more thing here though.
I Facebooked Glen 2 days ago for help on a pretty
hefty topic (keep in mind that I haven’t bought Cloud
Living or a single other thing from him, even through an
affiliate link) and he totally set me straight.

King!

To Cloud Living!
